Terry Leeders grew up just outside of Chicago, Illinois in Elmwood Park. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Terry started his legal career in 1998, where he focused his practice on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy cases. He has met with and counseled over three thousand clients about their financial needs. Terry realized that there was more he could offer each client in a small firm environment. Terry wanted to improve his client’s experience so he opened up the law firm of Leeders & Associates, Ltd. in which he can give his clients that one on one personal service they deserve.
In addition to bankruptcy, Terry also focuses his practice on commercial leasing, landlord-tenant disputes, estate planning, wills and personal injury.

Sean joined Leeders & Associates, Ltd. as a partner in 2005. He was brought in to develop and manage the firm’s litigation department. Maryam Khan was born and raised in the Chicago land area. She graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology and Northern Illinois University College of Law.
Maryam joined Leeders & Associates, Ltd. as an Associate Attorney in December 2005. Maryam's practice primarily focuses on Real Estate and Immigration Law. In 2006, Maryam developed and manages the firm’s immigration practice. She enjoys helping individuals with citizenship and naturalization issues throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Ed Rees is at his best in a courtroom. Since 1964, he has had significant trial experience handling "high stakes" litigation in civil rights, personal injury and other civil litigation. Ed's background as a county prosecutor successfully prosecuting murder and other serious felony cases prepared him well. Ed grew up on a farm and is a life-long resident of Central Illinois.
He went to the University of Illinois where he majored in Agricultural Economics. His extensive background affords him the ability to handle a variety of farm-related cases. He went on to University of North Dakota Law School where he was an Editor of Law Review and earned his Juris Doctorate degree with Honors. He has over 30 years of in-depth experience representing clients. With offices in Central Illinois and in Chicago, Mr. Rees utilizes his litigation skills handling cases all throughout Illinois.
Jackie Brandenburg-Rees was admitted to the practice of law in 1974. She grew up in Carlinville, Illinois and went on to college in Puerto Rico and law school at DePaul University Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Her academic excellence and commitment are evidenced by various scholarships throughout her education. She is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Missouri.
Jackie practices primarily in the area of nursing home and medical negligence and personal injury, although she has a broad background in the general practice of law and particularly in contested divorce and custody cases where she earned a reputation for being a tough adversary. She has an especially keen interest in nursing home negligence cases after a personal tragedy to a family member. Jackie speaks Spanish and she and her husband have adopted two children from Costa Rica.
